UsefulHow respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (almost nothing) and why.

Data we collect

We do not collect personal data. Specifically:

No analytics. We use no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party stats.
No cookies. The only client-side storage is localStorage for your dark/light theme preference, which never leaves your browser.
No forms. We have no contact forms, comments, or accounts. Nothing to submit, nothing to store.
No logins. There is no user registration or authentication.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may temporarily store standard HTTP server logs (IP address, requested URL, browser user-agent, timestamp) for operational purposes such as security and uptime monitoring. These logs are:

Retained for a short period (typically 7–30 days)
Not shared with third parties
Not used for marketing or profiling

Third-party resources

We load no third-party scripts. There are no embedded social widgets, ad networks, or external fonts. Every resource on this site is first-party.

AI crawlers

We block known AI-training crawlers (GPTBot, CCBot, Claude-Web, Bytespider, etc.) via robots.txt. This is not legally binding but signals our preference that our content not be used for model training without permission.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage.
